Friday, August 18th, 1pm EST - With Democrats Things Get Better - This is my signature presentation, the source of much of the Hopium we have here in our community. It tells the story of the US from when the Berlin Wall fell and a new age of globalization began. And what we find is that when Democrats are in power, things get better in America. When Republicans have come to power we get recessions, spiraling deficits and American decline.

Tuesday, August 22nd 7pm EST - Our monthly Hopium Chronicles political briefing and discussion - This monthly get-together is for the whole Hopium community. I start it off with a 15-minute overview of the national political landscape and then open it up for discussion. RSVP here.
