And to have a Democrat elected mayor again has me over the moon with joy! Thank you, Simon, for spotlighting Higgins’s race. I hadn’t heard about her and hadn’t been solicited by her campaign but with your advice, I was thrilled to donate to her. Let’s turn Florida purple again! (I think that’s a great place to start, but we need a blue governor’s mansion.)
In Miami we really NEED to find a way to address the disinformation spread by Spanish language radio. It is the main source of info for so many people and does terrible damage.
Only about 15 minutes I thought I wonder if Simon is going to jump on social media to share the good news. And then here you are! It’s a terrific win. Hard tonight to pay any attention to the usual drudgy news about whatever Trump & minions are up to with this happiness in the air.
This is fantastic, glimmers of hope, in FL but we have a very long way to go. David Jolly will have some wind at his back, but we are still in an uphill fight..
