Gorgeous roses! I'm envious. Although there are many reasons to love living in San Francisco, the fog is not particularly rose-friendly. Happy Mother's Day to the moms in your life.

Wow - Hungary - what a joyous celebration!

There will come a day when we too will be in joyous celebration for new political leadership. We’ll just keep working to get there.

And who knows, maybe our leaders will be cool and confident enough to dance like that in public! :-)

Wouldn't it be great to have a president who could do the first step of that dance without falling over?

Thanks for the great photos! And Happy Mothers' Day to all the Hopium moms. I use the apostrophe after the "s" in "Mothers" for the same reason Julia Ward Howe did. It signifies that all women, worldwide, have rights equal to those of all men. It's not just singular, as in, "thanks, Mom, for being there for me." It's plural, as in, "thanks to all Mothers, who share a common bond to bring peace to the world."

And can't forget Congrats to Willie on his bike racing success! Our son did both road racing and mountain bike racing for many years and loved it.

Of course, Trump will start kvetching that the in-your-face dancing at the Hungary Inaugural was meant to be a public FU to HIM.

Cause, it's always all about HIM.

Exactly. I suppose the idolatrous golden calf statue of him unveiled at his Mar-a-Lago property simply isn't enough.

For a true narcissist, nothing is ever enough. Ughh.

He is just jealous of everything that is not related to him. He doesn't even care that those around him just kiss his big orange rear bc they want something or fear losing their jobs. They all know he is an idiot. I bet even the idiot Hegseth thinks Trump is stupid.

I bet Trump think's Hegseth's stupid but he's camera-ready with good hair.

Actually, you're probably right.

I'm jealous of those beautiful roses. CT is still struggling with early Spring weather but we are seeing some color. Lots of green all over the state. Roses in CT don't peak until June. Elizabeth Park in Hartford is a special place to visit when they show their glorious colors.

Watching the new Minister of Health video yesterday showed us what happens when you take down of tyrant. Joy, Joy, Joy! If they could do it, so can WE!

Happy Mother's Day, everyone! Lovely roses Simon!

Hungary gets a cool dancing minister of health and we get RFK picking up roadkill? Not fair.

Spending time with family today, back on the phone calls and postcards tomorrow.
