Sarah Trone Garriott and I chat monthly. She’s the real deal. From
VISTA volunteer helping domestic violence victims in New Mexico to master’s degree from Harvard .. to a Lutheran seminary in Chicago to ordained minister… to Iowa State Senate.
She recently called on a Sunday night.. after preaching that morning! She’s 3-0 in red district. Trump
won that Des Moines-area district by 4 points (do the math :)
All four Iowa congressional seats are GOPer. One of my Texas congressional friends is looking forward to “adopting” the “pastor/Senator” after arriving in January: “We need her,” says Veronica.
What a stellar group of people! We need more like them in Congress--listeners, doers, winners, bridge-builders. People who will govern with ethics, efficiency and compassion; who will roll up their sleeves and get things done for the people of their districts. Glad to have Hopium supporting them and kudos to Rep. Jason Crow and his team for recruiting these folks to run for Congress.
Thank you. I have relatives in Columbia, TN and they have known Chaz Molder since he was young. They are very excited about his candidacy. So it's great to see him included in this list.
PLEASE take a look at Mike McGuire for CA-1! Mike is an incredible public servant and has stepped up to serve again by running for this previously un-Blue-able district, now made possible for us by Prop 50. His record in the Assembly and State Senate are unassailable, and he is all hard work and heart.
Friends, I've added a bit more info on how on the process for endorsing works each cycle in the post above. The DCCC is looking at 44 expansion districts and now have endorsed in 12. Many districts have primaries and we will have to wait for the winner. Others the committee is still evaluating the strength of the candidate, and whether investment and endorsement can help us win. Republicans are going to have a lot of money this cycle and we need to smart about how we target and spend. More on this in the coming days.....
It is exciting and exhilarating to read about these new terrific Dem candidates. How could they NOT win? Each will face an opponent who is either true MAGA or MAGA-adjacent and who will have to defend the ruinous and immoral politics of the Trump Administration. In these midterms, voters will have a clear choice. Contribution to the expanded set of 12 just made. Thank you, Simon, for bringing these folks to our attention.
I am a strong Dem in Wisconsin in the horrid Van Orden's district. But, I do not support Rebecca Cooke who has been forced on us by the national party. We have a much better candidate, Emily Berge, running. We haven't even had a primary, yet! Please do not contribute to Rebecca Cooke, she does not deserve support. Please contribute to Emily Berge.
Lisa Iannucci... if you're hovering around these parts, how are you faring with this snowfall, being that you're so close to the water?
I have to say, here in Manhattan, our new Mayor was so "on it" with dispatching City snow plows that I hardly slept because every couple of hours, throughout the night, they were working in my neighborhood. And, man, those plows make a lot of noise!
I have been following Jonathan Nez. He is quite impressive, and he will make a great Congressman of Arizona. And most of the Candidates have very versatile, great, backgrounds. They will be a Tour-De-Force!
Hope everyone stays Safe due to the Blizzard!
And, I will see how fat my piggy bank is to give a donation this week.

I would like to donate to the new group of candidates, but I don't see a link to do that. Will there be one link for all of them?
The link is above, and here - https://secure.actblue.com/donate/winningthehouse26
Thank you!

Please consider Fred Wellman to replace Ann Wagner in Missouri’s second district. Ann Wagner is the worst, and Fred Wellman is a strong candidate.

Judge Jeanine ditches pursuing Dems who spoke out (I guess in favor of heading to Happy Hour).
I wish we had brown and black people (thanks Mr Nez). I'm glad they're mostly women but they are awful pale.
Just made a donation to our Flip the House candidates.
