news/MSNBC today the group working on this has already collected 700k! They are so angry about what the Ohio legislature is so “ corruptly” doing to block their pro -choice ballot initiative. The Ohio people’s response was so wonderful to hear about.
Glad to hear about your plans, Simon. Good work definitely requires good self-care.
Tip / request: For being Information Warriors, the list of resources you included today is so helpful. ("Key Hopium Posts, Videos and Analysis") I wonder if you can figure out a way to gracefully included these core resources each time you post on Substack. Or at least have a link which takes us to such a list on the Hopium Chronicles website. Just a thought!
Marc Elias has worked this out in Democracy Docket to just add to a never ending list of articles. Short entry on each new add describes topic then tap to enter specific whole article or scan down to ALL previous articles in one spot. The additional articles are shown as pages ( 1-7,etc) at bottom of first page. I’m working my way through all 120s articles. My only request add would be if article could show if you’ve already read the article; like the Substack ones show you now. Love you can quickly scan in Substack which one I’ve read (or not )already.
Agree that we all would benefit from a break. However, I would encourage you, Simon, to encourage Hopium subscribers to work on the special election in Ohio. On August 8th, Ohio voters will decide whether to require a 60 percent vote to pass constitutional amendments, instead of a simple majority. If we all could do just one thing this summer, let's work to support The Campaign to Keep Majority Rule for Citizen Ballot Initiatives -- in other words, to defeat Ohio Issue 1.
Thank you Simon! I just mailed 20 postcards to voters in support of the Campaign to Keep Majority Rule for Citizen Ballot Initiatives in Ohio. 🇺🇸

this is an interesting idea. Let me see what I can come up with.

Congratulations Simon‼️ Keep on keeping on…
