I also wonder if late-breaking voters might trend Democratic this time, following a similar dynamic to late-breaking voters for Trump in 2024.
In my view, Day 1 of a Democratic House should begin with Impeachment Articles for Hegseth and RFK Jr. I'm remaining optimistic Blanche isn't there, but if he is, impeach him too. Holding off on Trump impeachment I think is the right move.
If they don't impeach cabinet members, they need to at least ruthlessly wield the gavel and make the members of the Trump administration testify under oath as often as possible. Force the GOP elected to either hold these people accountable, or defend the indefensible. Make a spectacle of it and reinforce their malfeasance and corruption daily until voters start to understand it.
And make those pricks Witkoff and Kushner come in to testify. And Don Jr. and Eric the Slow.
It seems to me that while the Ds might go after these scoundrels, our most prominent actions once we can be effective, should be to work on the issues of affordability and health care--among the issues that matter most to the working class. We should also be taking an aggressive stance against the ongoing terrible war in the ME, which is unpopular with all voters by overwhelming margins.

He is doing a very good job tying "corruption to costs," explaining how corruption is leading to increased costs for all of us who are not billionaires. It's not a case of either/or for Dems to focus on. It's both, because they're really two sides of the same coin.
I called Congressman Raskin and Senators Alsobrooks and Van Hollen about Trump's plans to increase prescription costs for MediCare recipients and to say that Trump is not in touch with reality and must be removed from office. I'm working on postcards to Ohio voters.

The Democrats need a narrative that ties the pieces together.
Give voters the enemy of greedy oligarchs, and then explain how they are using their money to undermine democracy so that they can enrich themselves at the expense of everyone else.
