Saw this on the blue bird this morning and think it can be used when coming across the inevitable Biden 'sleepy Joe' videos/social media posts. Remind them of Biden's castration of the GOP at the Jan State of the Union address in reference to privatizing social security and medicare. It was a perfect political moment.
I’ve had complicated feelings about Bernie Sanders in the past, not because I disagree terribly with a lot of what he believes in, but because I’ve always found it dangerous to make the perfect the enemy of the good, and he has done so much trash talking of the Democratic Party and the pragmatists who have done the hard work to win where we’ve had to win to have some governing power over the last 30 years. But I am standing in total respect of him right now, because to endorse President Biden on the first day, was such a powerful statement of unity, for the greater good that we must maintain with all, the varying factions of our messy and beautiful coalition of pro-democracy patriots. Hats off and all respect to you Senator Sanders, you have my gratitude for your service, and this important act of unifying patriotism.

No brainer -- the majority of Americans will want to vote for a President bent on protecting our freedoms vs. (whomever the GOP candidate, but especially the Former Guy) someone who wants to use government as a grift, to give handouts to the wealthy, well-connected few. Plus, don't we all want nice things Biden has already delivered like high employment, high-insurance coverage, high-paying manufacturing jobs, and lower prescription costs, lower student debt, and lower cost hearing aids, etc.?
Moreover, if we can elect enough Dems up and DOWN the ballot - the GOP can no longer block access to the freedoms we all want: including to decide if, when or how to start a family, to be who we are, and love who we love, or to go to our schools, grocery stores, stadiums, or places of worship without fear of preventable gun violence.
A podcaster I listen to suggested this as the slogan for Joe's '24 campaign.
Democrats for Democracy
It resonates with me and I hope it gets picked up by the Biden campaign bc it really says it all about the differences between the two parties.
Also finished writing 50 postcards for Donna Deegans campaign and I'm going to mail them tomorrow. This project helped me to keep my head in the fight after my disappointment from Fox not having to retract their lies as part of the Dominion settlement. We just need to keep on swimming as a little blue fish 🐠 tells us even through the disappointment .
