What a terrific guy. So down home. So real and in his space and with HIS people! I love these interviews. Everyone is themselves - authentically local AND SO SMART and CREATIVE. These interviews make me proud to be an American. !
Farmers/cattlemen are also threatened by screw worm. His administration doesn't understand the role of the federal government in protecting the food supply AND its suppliers.
his energy is directed at protesters, mail in ballots and his historical personal enemies, not real issuues.
Too bad we didn't have Johnny as negotiator during the Iran alleged "deal." We certainly didn't have a negotiator, even between the 2, who had a clue what that means: "negotiate," not bully or demean or ..., but actually negotiate. It sounds as though Johnny WILL be a great addition to the House.
I love how he listed every job he's done and then provided an example of how that experience is relevant for a Congress person.
I also loved the story about talking to the Republican who was a former Democrat. A lot of people talk about working across the aisle. Johnny gave a concrete example of actually doing that.
I think he did a great job picking specific examples to highlight his positions- there are so many great candidates out there this cycle- I so appreciate Simon and his team for finding them and highlighting them.

He has an aw-shucks quality to his initial introduction that belies a lot of savvy in persuasion and framing his political argument. Very, very impressive.
I once took a business negotiation class from a hostage negotiator, and it was a revelation. If Johnny can continue to use those talents I believe he will see nothing but success.
And even if he doesn't end up winning, having folks like him as the face of the Democratic party will bear dividends for years to come.
