Senate Votes To REPEAL Trump's Brazil Tariffs, 52-48 - Great Job Everyone!
Little cracks can become big cracks!
Evening folks. I don’t send emails like this very often but we had a big win tonight and wanted to share it with all of you.
The Senate voted tonight to repeal Trump’s tariffs on Brazil, 52-48. 5 Republicans voted with the Democrats - Senators Collins, McConnell, Murkowski, Paul, and Tillis.
I will have more analysis tomorrow but friends this is a big win; a huge repudiation of Trump by his own party while he prepares to “negotiate” with the Chinese; and an important signal to the Supreme Court that it is time to end this unconstitutional and incredibly destructive bullshit.
I am deeply grateful for everyone who has weighed in with their Senators and House Rep on this over the past few months. Our work here mattered.
Here at Hopium we take and celebrate the wins when they come, and this, my friends, is one of those wins. Great work all…..

Well, my “reps” are election deniers and cowards but…I’ve called almost every day, even when the House has been on “vacation.” Now I have a new message for them 🙂
