I always smile and give in honor of Sherrod's "Lovely Wife" Connie Shultz.

Thank you Simon for bringing us this great interview. Thank you Sherrod for stepping up and running this race. I don't think I would have the fortitude to do it. We need you! I am confident you will win and help us flip the Senate.

Exactly what I was thinking while watching, John.

I love this Man, He is so amazing! All these years he has been a Champion for Ohio and still remarkably young!

I know he will become Senator of Ohio, because he has done it before. And he will not give up! He is special!

Thank you Simon.

I have lots of relatives in Ohio and plenty of good summer memories of our family farm there. Ohio deserves better than another Trump clone. Good luck to Brown and Acton. Go Buckeyes.

The choice is clear: vote for the Republican pedophile lover or Brown, the working class supporter. Ironically, the vote will be close.

Ohio needs Sherrod Brown as senator again and Dr. Amy Acton as governor. I support both of them. Thank you for sharing the interview, Simon.

I've always liked Sherrod Brown and I am so thankful for his running again at 73. I'm now 71 and I can feel that I'm not as energetic as I was even 10 years ago. I'm not interested in retiring, but I surely don't have the energy to travel all over a state and do multiple events in a day! I hope the Ohio Dems start recruiting right away for the next national candidates for House and Senate so we can let these fantastic civil servants enjoy a well-earned retirement when they are ready to do so. We need to be looking forward everywhere and grooming new candidates as soon as we win in November. Proud to donate to Winning Ohio again. Thanks Simon.

Sharrod Brown has fought for so long with such obvious desire to help The People--gee, what congresspeople are supposed to do--that I was actually shocked when he lost his last election. I've never lived in Ohio, but I've followed Brown for years and years, knowing full well that his hard work and solid dedication to ALL the people was helping every single one of us.

I donated to his current run the instant I heard he had filed and have been continuing to do so. We all need him back in the senate!!!!!

Behind the Montana "maga" Curtain: Today, my husband and I completed our 42nd week M-F of calling the local offices of our MAGA 2 senators, 2 representatives, and governor. We will never stop fighting against MAGA fascism.

As someone who also lives in a MAGA state (TN), thanks for your fortitude, dedication and consistency. You inspire me to step up my game and make these calls every week instead of sporadically.

Acton and Brown is an amazing ticket. David Pepper being there for a new candidate like Acton I think is important as well.

I think Acton gives it something that feels new, and Brown is the steady hand.

Plus Vivek will probably repel GOP voters. He’s just such a miserable greedy smarmy little fucker.

Really one of the great public servants of our time. So glad he decided to run again, and that this year's prospects are better than in 2024, when his loss was heartbreaking (as was Bob Casey's in PA). Proud to support Sherrod Brown, Amy Acton, David Pepper and the other "proud, plucky patriots" of the Ohio D Party! Let's bring it home and reclaim Ohio!!

I really liked the example he gave of what he learned at a veteran's roundtable in a rural Appalachian county (Jackson). Their concern was loss of healthcare, combined with the effects of the war. What I'm seeing with him and with really all of the candidate interviews I've listened to today is this willingness, effort, and ability to go out and meet voters where they are, listen to them, and discuss real, practical solutions. Sounds so basic but per the Anne Applebaum article on Hungary that Simon highlighted, that's exactly how Magyar countered the AI-driven lies Orban relied on.

I am going to contribute to Sen. Brown's campaign. It will be such a triumph when he is elected.
