This is also tied in with the "youth won't vote for Biden" movement due to Gaza and " he's old, like my great grandpa in the nursing home." I believe we are being massively trolled. No less than Joe Trippi think the polls are just flat out wrong; I believe I heard him say people are just spouting off; they'd rather have a new JFK but when they realize it's going to be Biden or trump, they're not going back to that idiot for all the reasons Simon has detailed.

Agree. And I taught media relations - Simon nailed it. Concise, clear and compelling. Perfection.

I wish they would have Simon on AT THE SAME TIME to fact-check the R lies. Jen Psaki knows better.

Terrific appearances this week, both with O’Donnell & MJ. So glad to see them getting you on the air with your data-driven insights. Thanks for all you do to promote an optimistic, yet realistic, narrative to counter the unhelpful pandering by the doom & gloomists.

Love your answer on Biden’s age as experience. I agree. And Biden is ready and willing to right so many wrongs. I just saw a post on the White House Facebook page that Biden has preserved 26 million acres of land and waters. They had another post relating that tackling our climate crisis is not necessarily equal to hampering economic growth (it was the post with photo of solar panels). I am astounded every time I think of the enormity of all the things Biden-Harris and their very capable administration is tackling.

I just hope we can overcome that tendency of people not to appreciate what they have until it’s gone. After Rosalynn Carter’s death, I watched all the well deserved accolades for the Carters and couldn’t help thinking that Americans didn’t appreciate President Carter enough while he was in office to give him a 2nd term. Let’s hope the US doesn’t make that mistake in 2024 with Biden & Harris.

Lots of good stuff there including this year’s Christmas decorations which were exuberantly joyful in stark contrast to Melenia’s fashionable shades of gray and frosted trees.

What a much-appreciated comment. We have to keep focusing on President Biden and his administration’s many, many accomplishments. The press could help here but if they won’t, we’ll have to. Happy New Year 🎊

Joe Biden has been a Wise President

This should supplant just merely saying that Joe Biden has been a good president. The reasons for this is that WISE conjures up the positives of age for us, older voters, and the positives of Gandolf and Drumbledore for the younger voters. Also, it prevents us from having to stated later in conversations as an answer to the age question which always comes after a “but”. This has been evident in every interview I have seen Simon do.

By putting wise in the first sentence, it deals with the issue head-on in the most positive and meaningful way we can

Agree, Guy! Language choice shapes our perceptions/opinions. Joe is wise and wily. He surgically applies his decades of experience. We should count our lucky stars that he decided to re-enter the national stage to Stop Trump in 2020. Joe saw clearly the denouement. Despite Trump's daily barrage of BS and personal attacks for 3 years, Joe has stayed strong and stable. I applaud his superman strength!

Brilliant and welcome, we need to keep the faith and move with a dose of pride in what President Biden has already done for this Country. Keep it up, the dark forces are terrible but scattershot and a positive “we got this” is the necessary attitude to save this necessary democracy.

Whoa- Powerful interview on MSNBC/Morning Joe. Couldn't have been better. Credible, straightforward, clear.

Can't wait to see you & this message in prime time. And with more time to give the compelling statistics behind your statements.

Wow!

Great job Simon - to be honest though these increased migrant crossings (splashed all over Yahoo news) have me concerned as a potential wedge issue ...

Thanks, as always. On the same program, Anand Ghirondalas spoke about the need for Dems to focus more on the future. A brilliant guy, like you, plus adding something new to the messaging discussion.

Looking good all grown up in that suit and tie, Simon! I agree. Biden’s age: I’d rather have older wisdom in charge of global affairs and not Jared Kushner, who I referred to, for 4 years, as the intern. He should have been bringing me my oat milk latte at my office!
