We gather for our last paid subscriber hangout of the year on Thursday, December 21st at 1pm EST. We will be in Zoom meeting mode so cameras on for those who to connect with others in our plucky community. Register below, and a recording will be available for those who cannot make it live.
The bottom line on 2023 - this has been a very good year for us, and a bad year for MAGA. We just keep winning elections across the US, and our grassroots is more effective and capable than it’s ever been; our pro-democracy media orgs are growing, becoming more powerful, helping us get louder; the economy is remarkably strong, Joe Biden is a good President and we will have a strong case for re-election. MAGA, however, has a leader with 91 indictments and substantial opposition in his own party; unprecedented public dysfunction, internal strife and extremism; continued underperformance in elections across the US; and the triple political albatrosses of abortion, treason and mass deportation. As I like to say, as we head into 2024, in every way possible, I would much rather be us than them.
