Trump is a miserable excuse for a human being. Somewhere inside of him there must be a spark that makes him human, and not just an animator’s escaped delusional, hateful monster. Or maybe not.

Somewhere, in the Kremlin vaults, is a file. In that file? There is something so awful that the ogre will do anything, anything to keep it from being released. Dollars to caviar, money is the answer, not little girls, they're a hobby, not reality. Not being President of the United States, It's just a means to an end. The end is money.

It would be a nice to be a Nobel Laureate and to join that very elite club of Roosevelt, Wilson, Carter, and Obama, but the real goal is money. The United States is a means to an end and also a get out of jail free card. How long will it take Justice to turn over the banking records to Sen. Wyden?

True, part of my hypothesis is based on the debacle of the Alaska meeting and the look of consternation on the faces of a meeting that shut down long before it was supposed to. What did Putin bring with him? What so rattled the US delegation. Putin's holding a royal flush.

I have long hated that describing the orange one's actions in plain factual language makes one sound like a rabid conspiracy theorist crackpot.

It is plain as day that Putin has something on Trump and is playing him like a fiddle. Once upon a time, I would have expected the rest of the government to have scenarios and plans for such a disaster.

Edit: On second thought, Trump is purely transactional, and he doesn't think any consequences can ever touch him. Putin might not be using threats.

Putin (one of the world's richest people) has probably promised him a bunch of things. Maybe $50 million, a Trump Tower in Donbas, and the Order of Putin award (made of solid gold of course) on the day Ukraine surrenders. Trump is probably wondering what Ukraine can offer, and so far it is mostly justice and a freer, safer world, which he doesn't care about.

Either way, as the midterms get closer, some R's will have to make some hard choices. All our work at Hopium and our other organizations will hopefully make it easier for them to choose wisely.

According to someone who definitely knows, Putin has substantial Epstein kompromat on Trump. Therefore, Trump will do anything Putin demands. They have history together, and Putin knows where all the bodies are buried. Trump will knee-jerk to Putin's every command. Lesson to America: Do not install someone in our White House who can be blackmailed. Trump is a huge security risk for our nation.

Thanks for the update.

Russia appears to be weakening and losing, but we are still asking for Zelenskyy to make concessions? It is insane and becomes more insane as time goes on.

The Epstein files are a matter of national security. It may not be the sole factor here. But we need to know the truth so there is one fewer ways Putin has leverage.

Yes, those expressions were priceless. Payback earned.

The Saboteur likes to brag about making money off the war in Ukraine. His cavorting with Putin is disgusting. His lack of respect for President Zelenskyy and the people of Ukraine is despicable. This is not OK. This is not normal.

In contrast, here is President Zelenskyy's recent FB post, as translated.

"I thank President Donald J. Trump for a great meeting. We had a substantive discussion on all issues, and we much appreciate the progress achieved by American and Ukrainian teams in recent weeks. Special thanks to Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner for their engagement and full commitment, as well as to our team — first of all, to Rustem Umerov and Andrii Hnatov.

We discussed all the aspects of the peace framework and achieved significant results. We also discussed the sequence of further actions. We agreed that security guarantees are key on the path to achieving a lasting peace, and our teams will continue working on all aspects. We agreed that our teams would meet as early as next week to finalize all discussed matters. We also agreed with President Trump that he will host Ukrainian and European leaders in Washington, D.C., in January.

Ukraine is ready for peace."

Why is Jared Kushner part of this team? Why does the MSM just ignore the fact that the only experience he has for these negotiations is from Trump's first term, when all he did was enrich himself and make shady deals. I get so angry when I think about just how much the MSM gives Trump a pass on everything - even demolishing a wing of the White House wasn't bad enough for the MSM to care much less cover it. I really hold the MSM responsible in great deal for the mess we are in now. I don't know how most of them can look at themselves in the mirror.

Trump and the Republicans have treated Zelenskyy horribly and have caused thousands of deaths. Russia does NOT want Ukraine to succeed . What nonsense. Putin started this war and he and Trump want the resources only. Period.

Send your support to Ukrainian Embassy at ukrembus@gmail.com, I did:

Please suggest that President Zelenskyy that he stop meeting with Donald Trump. Trump is deranged and does not represent the values of a majority of American citizens. Ukraine needs to work with Canada and the EU and terminate any negotiations or meetings with DJT. I would wager that being the mercenary and transactionalist he is, Trump would still sell weapons to the EU (for Ukraine) if he can make money. CUT TRUMP OFF. HE IS PUTIN"S PUPPET and cannot be trusted. Ukraine Wins in 2026!

Yes, yes, yes! I so agree. Zelenskyy should stop wasting his time with the vile pack of weasels he's forced to meet with when he comes to town. Someday, after we've managed to rid ourselves of this horrible administration and every one of its groveling toadies and have replaced the whole kaboodle with nice, normal, moral, friendly, decent, sane, etc., etc., public servants, perhaps - if we're lucky - he'll stop by for a visit.

European weapons and aerospace manufacturers and satellite companies that you can invest in to support Ukraine and Europe in the fight against Russia include: Rheinmetall (RNMBY), Eutelsat (ETL.PA), Dassault Aviation (DUAVF), Saab AB (SAAB-B.ST), and Thales (THLLY).

Where are our Democratic leaders here? Knowing that nothing would come out of the meeting with Trump and his enablers ( the photo showing the usual suspects with Stephen Miller thrown in for good measure), Senator Schumer and Minority Leader Jeffries should have been prepared to hold their own press briefing standing solidly behind President Zelensky and saying they will do everything in their power in Congress to see that Ukraine gets aid and that sanctions on Russia will continue. There are enough Republicans left who also support Ukraine and who might have been asked to be included in such a press briefing to show that support for Ukraine is in fact bi- partisan even if Majority Leader Senator Thune and Speaker MAGA Mike Johnson are kowtowing to Trump. There have been any number of opportunities to come out publicly in support of President Zelensky but our Democratic Leaders are nowhere to be found. The Democratic Party needs to be shown that we are standing with the world’s democracies and specifically NATO, and that in contrast the President has totally abrogated his responsibility to the Alliance and to defending a democratic country in Europe by having thwarted aid to Ukraine since he took office.

Excellent post! Yes, knowing how shabbily he was likely to be treated by POTUS and posse, it would have been the civilized thing to do. How did he even get to the White House? Did he have to call an Uber? But back to the Dems: Are our Dem leaders and media even aware that many of us listen to a lot of Canadian media? And truly love some of their leaders? We also truly love Zelenskyy and will never forgive the treatment he's been given by SOME Americans.

I’m pretty disgusted that not one Congressional Democrat showed up. I’ll be calling to voice my extreme disappointment and embarrassment that they couldn’t muster anyone to be physically present to greet Zolenskyy. It would have shown solidarity between the Ukrainians and the American people who still support Ukraine by and large.
