Last Night was really good, Simon! And Bill Kristol is, amazingly, certainly a part of the solution (no matter how much I have a hard time processing how far he took us into this morass before course correcting SOMEWHAT). One tender, positive critique, offered with the experience of an art student accustomed to such review (which you will be able to do with time and review of past video): talk less. You can breathe between ideas and allow for some things to simply sink in. We will all still be there with you!

I also was thrilled to attend last night’s discussion (Link: https://www.youtube.com/live/SE8cChmlyeQ?feature=share) which I plan to share widely in NY-19. We are energized here in NY-19, and last night’s discussion in its entirety is wonderful but Simon’s closing comments were so inspirational and dynamic, I will clip his concluding thoughts from last night (1:10:11 to 1:15:46) and share with my networks, again and again. The entire evening’s discussion was great, and these 5 minutes will be my marching orders for the future. I noted that of the 700 people who signed up, well over 400 were on the Zoom call from six different co-organizations, an incredible turnout and joint endeavor. There were 500 or more comments in the chat, starting off with introductions and locations of attendees, then the usual comments and complaints: Biden and Willow!, why isn’t Merrick Garland doing more?, where are the indictments?, the latest outrage in Congress! Etc. A dramatic shift began towards the wrap up when the chat turned to: Thank you all for a great conversation, etc. Then Simon let us have it with those last 5 minutes and Boom! The chat became Yes! We can do it! Thank you Simon! Simon is right! I agree! It was as if I could see hundreds of attendees clapping and standing and hollering in homes across the country. Simon knows how to get a crowd energized, even a crowd on Zoom. Thank you Simon for showing us the way.
