Thanks, Simon!

Trump is indeed flailing. Would it surprise me if there is, in fact, no deal to buy cheap beef from some country that, for unknown reasons, Trump won't name? No. He lies about everything. Meanwhile, apparently none of our food is safe. Thanks Elon and RFK!

I'm writing postcards to Ohio voters today.

Morning Catherine! I'm writing postcards to Ohio right along with you today! In fact I think I learned about Postcards to Swing States from you, so thank you! Also today I am not eating lettuce, jalapeños, granola, alfalfa sprouts... did I miss anything?

It may be of interest to you that Steve Futterman (NPR, I think) was on CBC news reporting that the states to be hardest hit by Trump's tariff escalation on Canada will be Ohio, Michigan, and Texas. Just sayin' ...

I'll see if I can find a link.

Good morning Simon and happy vacation! First, Thank you for your commitment to democracy and ongoing reminders that the part must become more inclusive. Couple thoughts and info for you to consider.....

Is it conspiracy minded to think the R's are engaging in a hunt and peck startegy to identify and target democratic voters by emailing but mostly texting asking for contributions? As a lifelong Democratic voter, there have been a few incidents lately where Ive received donation appeals from the republican candidates in my state trying to flip seats. Maybe its time for this mistake?

Next, thank you for the page about the DSA. Frankly, I dont think some of the DSA candidates really understand the label they are running under, but think ask for the impossible and hope for the possible probability! Perhaps a new conversation of liberal, neoliberalism vs progressive is order as well. Point being there are a lot of labels that mean completely different things to everybody or mean absolutely nothing to some...in which case you get MAGAittes and entry points for R's to invade and divide.

Last, beyond the midterms, what non partisan groups exist to cross party lines and geographic boundaries to facilitate conversations about the incredible damage that's been done to the country and get more of back on track with country first because sick countries moment global unrest! Right now we are amongst the sickest countries.

I'm sure Trump definitely went berserk when He saw Rosie O'Donnell's skit! She was great!

I was a Poll Watcher for Obama's Election in Georgia. And I am looking forward to being one again, here in Florida.

Why no support for Dr. Annie Andrew’s?

I have a rudimentary understanding of economics at best, but my take on why Mark Carney walked away from Trump’s madness is a belief Canada can withstand economic upheaval until the midterms. Let’s help out our friends to the north and kick the craven, cowardly GOP to the curb. 🇨🇦🇺🇸

Still post-carding for Rebecca Bennett and sharing information about ASDC voter protection efforts with my retired husband!!!

Thanks for continuing to post--even on your vacation, Simon. And Go, Rosie, Go!!! We know nothing gets under Trump's skin like well-executed satire and mockery. And it's a bonus Trump head slam when Rosie does the mockery so beautifully.
