Click on the link in Simon's piece. It will take you to a video clip from the CNN Town Hall where Mike Pence says he thinks the DOJ should not indict Trump on the classified documents situation. When the moderator points out the inconsistency of that position with Pence's previously stated commitment to the rule of law, he twists himself into knots trying to reconcile the illogic and inconsistency in his statements.

Sounds good to me. Pass the postcards, please. Then get out the broom and sweep up the dust.

Thank you, Simon. I'm continuing my daily focus on registering the friends of my young adult sons' friends to vote in Georgia.

I continue to write Postcards to Voters each week. I have written a total of 200 so far this year🇺🇸! I find the activity assuages my angst about our current situation in the country. We must continue to work together to elect and re-elect Democrats in Local and National offices to help Joe and Kamala get the job done. Thank you Simon for your unwavering commitment and terrific leadership.

Supporting WisDems, Democracy Docket, and a few other outstanding Dems--Ruben Gallego in AZ, Adam Frisch in CO. Loud as I can. Thanks for being both incisive and positive. Hopium serves us!

The Supreme Court just issued a major surprise ruling, finding that Alabama Republicans’ gerrymandered map dilutes Black voting power— this could net Democrats several more House seats by striking down other racist gerrymanders.

I believe we are still waiting to learn about a decision in Moore v Harper. I have not been able to keep up with Marc Elias newsletters and podcasts as I've been swamped with end of quarter work projects. I was completely surprised by the Supreme Court ruling. Perhaps they have learned their lesson with all of the very unfavorable publicity they have been receiving over the unethical behavior of Clarence Thomas.

As a Floridian, I am doing my best to spread the word about how awful DeSantis is to everyone I know, especially those in other states who don't know him yet. As the old song (sorta) goes "To know, know, know him is to hate, hate, hate him....and I do".

A lot of the Post Cards to Voters I write are for Florida voters. There is a lot of focus on getting Florida Dems to re-sign up for Vote by Mail. A new law enacted by DeSantis requires voters to re-enroll every two years.

That’s great! My local Central Pasco Democratic Club has written about 500 of those reminder postcards in the past 2 weeks. We’re now ordering more postcards!

Also, let’s keep messaging that DeSantis will be spending 22 million ! of our tax dollars on his immigrant stunts.

I’m going to share this on SM and get it amplified! Watching MSM, you would never know how bad it is for the GOP MOC or DeeSantis or DehSantis.

I just started a monthly donation to Ban Assault Weapons. It is a group of Parkland School survivors led by an aunt of a Parkland massacred 17 y.o.

A “scrappy “ group that actually raised and donated $100k last year to their cause. Their survivors video is beyond shattering to hear. Warning: tough to watch but essential in our times, IMO, because gun deaths are the number one cause of death for our school age children.

I donated to them because these young people are laser focused on making frontline political impacts that will result in the banning of assault weapons. And even more importantly to me, one of their major priorities is youth voter registration to make more of the changes they want to see happen. By sharing their incredible

( horrifying) experiences with other youth, they are building and going to build a tsunami of youth voters.

Get to 55 ( and save lives)

You’re welcome BJohnson. I pray these youths make the changes politically and environmentally we all need. I see them rising here and in Seattle and other communities.
