A quick one tonight. While Californians will have a late night, here on the East Coast we have two results I want to share with you before heading to bed…..

Despite Republicans spending almost $2m spent against her in recent weeks our impressive candidate in NJ-7 Rebecca Bennett has won her primary tonight, via NBC News:

This seat is one our best pick up opportunities this November and we are going to be all in for our terrific nominee, Rebecca Bennett. I’m grateful to everyone who worked hard to help bring about this important win against the illicit Republican campaign to try to pick our nominees in key House races.

Josh Turek won a hard fought primary race for US Senate in Iowa tonight. Here’s the current vote count from NBC News:
