Too cool! I'm about 45 minutes southwest of PDX, but I liked the image of connecting the Portlands! I regularly think of the most perfect lobster roll I had in Maine, overlooking the most gorgeous stretch of ocean!
Awww, well I was just out in the Pacific NW and took the most beautiful ferry ride over to Victoria. You live in a beautiful part of the world! Yes we have the lobster, just not a senate candidate!!!!

I am here to report that Graham Platner has officially withdrawn. I feel this message is much better than his first video. It allows his supporters to move on.
This process to replace him must be on the up and up. I know you have direct access to Charlie and Devon., Simon. The only way to beat Collins is to have a more progressive candidate. If they anoint someone and ignore the 72% we will lose voters and Collins will win. What a difficult task the ME Dems have needing to try to be inclusive and nominate someone in 2 weeks. Right now they are proposing a 600 person delegation who will meet at a convention by the 27th and vote on the candidate. Again, I am trying how to get myself on that delegation to help nominate and select this candidate.
I do not even know who the right candidate might be for Maine other than Shenna Bellows, our SOS, who is a Mighty Girl and has really stood up to Trump.
Nirav Shah is a disaster dressed in a shiny suit. He came second in the gubernatorial race last month. Sen Duckworth today warned Mainers to steer clear through the Bangor Daily News. I had known that she and Sen Durbin asked him to resign over his botched work at the VA and did not even rank him in our gubernatorial primary (Maine has ranked choice voting). So many other things will make him a toxic candidate.
Digging deep in my dresser drawers. Already raided the bag of change I keep in the glove compartment for parking meters. Bottom of my purse is next, which is a scary place where unknown things hide. Anything and everything I scavenge is going to Maine Dems. Come on, we can raise another $10,000!
We can do this. This makes it harder, but we might still get a strong candidate who can get enough name ID to win. They need to go hard negative on Collins and not let up. She's not a moderate -- on a steady repeat.
I just made a donation to Maine Dems via Hopium link. Now that the resignation has been received by the Secretary of State, it feels really good to breathe a little easier in this historic political moment.

House Speaker Ryan Fecteau was interviewed by Kristin Whelker last night. I am a huge fan of this young man.
