Evening all. Sending along an interview I just completed with Hopium friend Rep. Adam Smith, the Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee.
Rep. Smith had just finished up a classified briefing with Secretaries Rubio and Hegseth, and Joint Chiefs Head Dan Caine. I am grateful that he took the time in such a momentous day to come update our community on the Mad King’s new, illegal, and incredibly dangerous war in the Middle East.
Rather than summarizing his remarks I am rushing this interview out and encourage you to watch and share with others. The recording and transcript are above. Rep. Smith does confirm what we discussed this morning, and what are seeing with our own eyes - there is immense confusion about the strategy and mission, things are escalating in ways they did not count on, and yes there is no possible legal justification for this war that Trump promised, repeatedly, again and again, would never ever happen.
