I called Sen. Chris Murphy's office to thank him for the NOPE Act and Sen. Robert Garcia to thank him for oversight ctte work and to cheer them on (even though I am constituent of neither).

Though I always vote Democrat I remain Unaffiliated. The democratic party is too far to the right for my needs and desires. We need to get rid of the corporate dems and move the party into the progressive platforms that many, if not most, Americans support.

I have enjoyed Scott Dworkin's emails listing things that are bad news for tRump and good news for us, but I just googled him and found a piece from Mother Jones in 2019 that describes him as a huckster. Can somebody point me to more trustworthy info? Thanks.

". . . despite their enormous information superiority Trump is not winning any sustained argument with public. . . ."

Not so. MAGA has propaganda superiority but it is nullified by what people see when they open their eyes. Trump does not win with the public because facts and logic are against him. We have information superiority; their propaganda generates more raw energy, but that only takes them so far.

I loved Eric Croft! Talk about the “ Little Engine That Could! Thank goodness the crucial role of building a party infrastructure on a continuous basis appears to have finally struck a real chord. I recall reading how under Obama the state party structure had been ignored to the point of barely operating and that Obama himself after the “ shellacking of 2010 admitted to be the case. Sadly, I guess that lesson didn’t take hold enough and things were allowed to slip back to half hearted and inconsistent efforts. It was recognized for years that Republicans understood that winning local elections, whether for City Council or School Board, would lay the groundwork and become a foundation for winning elections more broadly. Thankfully, Democrats do not need to reinvent the wheel. The examples are many and people like Croft are valiantly trying to implement them as best they can. Yay Alaska!

Project 2025 was never fully explained to the public, even though there was so much time for the Dems to break it down in layman's terms. I believe that it would be a great opportunity and beneficial to all Dems right now that our top officials have grown a spine, to demand a hearing and subpoena not only Stephen Miller, but all the elected magas who are now in djt's cabinet.

Call out Russell Vought, Brendan Carr, the criminal Peter Navarro who serves as djt's advisor, and all others and televise hearings so the public can see that these people are traitors. They all want to overthrow the government, and this plan is being followed by their puppet spokesperson djt. Traitors used to get the death penalty, but another way to get rid of them is to take away their American citizenship and send them all off to live under the leader they seem to love; Vladimir Putin.

I love the Calls to Action at the end of every post. I think it's time to pivot, though, to encouraging the Democratic dialog from what we're against to what we're FOR. I'm certainly not the only person singing this song, but after taking the Harvard edX course on American Government. Constitutional Foundations, we are missing an opportunity while we continue to chase down and defeat Trump's serious damage.

Would love to defeat Dan Sullivan and see Mary Peltola back in Congress. Alaska so needs this.
