Simon, thank you for all of this, as always. And — we've talked about ways to get the message out broadly about the damage Trump is doing. Forgive me if you have already highlighted this, but The Human Toll is doing some magnificent and heartbreaking work, making the losses personal, photographically piercing, visceral, voiced—making them real, beyond the already terrifying numbers: https://humantoll.org/

Thank you, Simon!

I keep saying, Sears is a real nut-job. I hope Spanberger beats her by a lot. I'm writing postcards to Virginia voters today.

I also called Congressman Raskin and Senators Alsobrooks and Van Hollen and asked them to do more to fight Trump's illegal tariffs. After watching his appearance on Brian Taylor Cohen, I contacted Maryland's governor, Wes Moore, to ask him do everything he can to fight the Texas re-districting fiasco.

The Superman ad is laughable and ridiculous. Trump is unbelievable. If he was written as a fictional character, people would complain that no one would believe him. How he ended up as President twice and controlling the Republican Party is really quite unbelievable. And yet here we are.

"really quite unbelievable"

If you take a look at Ezra Klein's recent interview with Yoram Hazony, the unbelievable will become very understandable. National identity.

I find that unbelievability to be a real problem when I talk to uninformed people about what T**** is doing. I must sound like a lunatic when describing even the most basic facts.

Anouska de Georgiou had claimed years of rape by Epstein. I guess that is before being introduced to Trump. It's just sickening. I'd never heard her story before.

I look forward to seeing what everyone else has been doing. Myself, I will make some calls and send some postcards off today. I'm looking for more ways to get involved but I'm rather busy with other things.

There’s no looking back! If we don’t see the writing on the wall and learn that there is purpose and meaning in these crazed behaviors and cukoo appointments then we need to get out of the pundit role and just tell bedtime stories!

People, 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸stop reflecting and begin forecasting and developing your plan of action 🔥for today, this week and this month to actively undermine the Heritage Foundation 👹agenda. Project 2025 is the book we must read and sadly memorize it and chart each, our on path to build burning barricades against its fast moving forward movement.

Fight fight fight 💥🇺🇸💥🇺🇸💥🇺🇸against the enemy which is this Heritage Foundation doctrine and the foul and cruel and deceit filled folk it has spawned now managing the White House and its failing Orange hag puppet, Trump! Next it will be JD.

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸RED BLOODED AMERICANS look ahead and say yes yes yes to the BRIGHT PROMISE and the new small d democratic reformation only OUR future knows. We must stop malingering on the sickliness of yesterday and instead be strong and be fighting today, tomorrow and every moment on the streets and in our hearts for as long as our beloved Republic remains!

I finished Alexei Navalny's, Patriot, a Memoir, over the weekend and recommend it highly to anyone seeking inspiration at this moment. Navalny and his compatriots' courage in standing up to Putin is remarkable. Navalny used humor, satire, law, and mockery. "...Lies, and nothing but lies. It will crumble and collapse. The Putinist state is not sustainable. One day we will look at it and it won't be there. Victory is inevitable. But for now, we must not give up, and we must stand by our beliefs." Putin killed him, but never broke him."

After reading Patriot and South Park, I invented a little skit to entertain myself that goes, "Bless my heart, if it isn't the Mini Mushroom Man and his band, The Merry Pricksters, starring in this week's episode of Blunder and Plunder." I can hardly wait to see what comes next...

Anyone looking for a good laugh, check out The Raging Grannies of Madison. They take folk tunes and update them. Just to whet your appetite, here's the first line from one of them, "Hey Mr. Tangerine Man, stay away from me..." We're in this together.

It's way past time for businesses to get off their hands and start telling the truth about the impact of tariffs and the loss of immigrant workers on their businesses. I've started notifying businesses I typically purchase from that I can no longer afford to buy their product or not buy it as often. I'll urge them to go public about the impact on their businesses. Americans will listen. If enough people send these messages, and companies start speaking out, it will undermine Trump's lies about how great the economy is doing. His fake numbers will be exposed. Every business has a contact us service. It's easy to email a comment. Numbers talk.

But the way that businesses ought to respond under our constitution is to refuse to pay the tariffs. Then they wouldn’t have to raise prices.

Right? Perhaps Mr. Shapiro can come on and explain this. What entity is even collecting them, and why are businesses paying when there is no legislation to enforce it?

And so... a governor believes he has the power and authority -- acting unilaterally -- to fire at will representatives elected by the People. Amazing. Now we're talking. Replace them with WHO? People of HIS choosing? ... WOW.

Taking a few steps BACK, the following is far more realistic and in line with our Constitution: THOUSANDS of people in a district -- via petition -- declare their representative as unfit and having entered office under false pretenses -- and work in unison with the governor to declare seat OPEN and a special election scheduled to fill it properly.

yes, make that lemonaid! Here in Alberta (we have oil, beef and a history of rightwing politics), there is a Maple Maga/Fifth column noisily agitating for separation from Canada. They have boasted at public meetings about millions in US financial support. They are getting undisguised support from our provincial government, which has loosened the rules for launching a referendum.

A former centre-right politician has started a petition (first step in getting a referendum) in which the request is clearly to *stay* in Canada. This has cleared administrative hurdles now, beating the separatist version at its own game and creating momentum. Grassroots enthusiasm was always there for something of this nature, now it has a focus and is building an organization.

Overall, the world is not impressed by Dolos and his second term. Unlike our current MSM, many in the world’s media are not intimidated by the current regime. Therefore, they speak the unvarnished truth (about the Nobel Prize and beyond): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gO_OE5G-R_E . Do you agree?

Where is Jill Stein?

“You come at the king, you best not miss”.

- The Wire

It seems that more scholarly people than myself (easy comparison - smile) are beginning to examine the statements by “Katie Johnson” relative to Dolos for both surface and deeper meaning (ADULT CONTENT): https://katemanne.substack.com/p/the-actual-conspiracy-theory-surrounding .

SO, HERE IS A SEVEN YEAR OLD DOCUMENTARY ABOUT DOLOS AND THE “YOUNG”COMMISSIONED BY THE BBC THAT DOESN’T SEEM TO BE IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE - ON THE BBC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sB0IpYuYzk0 . One can come to his or her own conclusions as to why the video is only accessible via a third-party source on YouTube (defamation?). It is all so curious.

According to Frank Schaeffer, the expert on the Christian Right from the days before the Moral Majority and Ronald Reagan, he suggests that the true name of this movement is THEONOMY (ADULT LANGUAGE): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0HrFoT_aYw&list=TLPQMjYwNzIwMjU3TBqnEQk7LQ. The Theonomists want TO KILL GAYS, TO EXECUTE ADULTERERS, and TO REINTRODUCE A FORM OF SLAVERY (i.e. for the lesser races) through a severe form of Old Testament laws (read the first paragraph of the “GOALS” section): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theonomy#External_links . Their target is a modern Inquisition-style Christian government.

Folks:

Previously, we have said that the markets will have a vote during the regime of Dolos. My money (so to speak) is still on the markets to win in the end. Imagine that Dolos would fire the messenger for bringing bad news. It seems that people did not read the guilty verdicts of Dolos in 2024. It seems that he massaged the numbers of his own businesses: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/judge-rules-trump-defrauded-banks-insurers-as-he-built-his-real-estate-empire . Since he now “owns” the store that we call the United States ( https://www.msn.com/en-us/politics/government/i-own-the-store-trump-seeks-a-direct-role-in-the-economy/ar-AA1EZD11 ), why wouldn’t he start to massage the nation’s numbers to be more to his liking? Also, I hear that Dolos is 6’3”, 220, and he has a +5 handicap in golf: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-7ifTnYFcw .

For the short term, citizens may need to deal with the less than stellar decisions by the current regime. However, the rest of the world can make other choices (7-day gift link): https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-08-04/us-dollar-seen-at-risk-from-trump-s-moves-to-pick-policymakers?accessToken=eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJzb3VyY2UiOiJTdWJzY3JpYmVyR2lmdGVkQXJ0aWNsZSIsImlhdCI6MTc1NDMxODAwMSwiZXhwIjoxNzU0OTIyODAxLCJhcnRpY2xlSWQiOiJUMEdMN1BHUFFRODAwMCIsImJjb25uZWN0SWQiOiI5QzY4NzRGNzMzODA0QkNCOTI0ODYzQUEzRDhFODcwMiJ9.pix6MZpPCKw1Mz-NdaI6dZb_0SHyGvj81vU3RQXbvUw . In fact, international money mangers WILL move to protect the finances of their worldwide clients. Dolos and his minions will learn that extortion is a losing strategy for statecraft: https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/mexico-plans-stronger-trade-collaboration-with-canada-after-trump-tariff-threats-2025-07-16/

CARTHAGO DELENDA EST (via nonviolence).

P.S. : DEMOCRATIC officials keep mentioning (and showing) Jan. 6 and the PARDONS relative to the current “law and order” push by Dolos and his associates. This is a simple but strong contrast. Use social media to promote testimonies by former “January 6 Commission” members and witnesses. YES, re-litigate Jan. 6 - again and again and again. Dolos needs to realize that he lives in a GLASS HOUSE. Go on Faux News Channel because it is just like an “unrepresented” Republican district - i.e. plenty of visuals devoid of facts. The VISUAL EVIDENCE IS NOW ON YOUR SIDE. GO ON ESPN (a male-leaning channel) and express concern about the viability of the pending World Cup with actors like Dolos and Miller in the mix. With measles rampant and anti-vax officials influencing policy, will tourists want to visit the USA (weak ticket sales?): https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/soccer/heres-what-fifa-president-gianni-infantino-said-about-ice-cbp-agents-at-club-world-cup/ar-AA1GwUkA ?

P.P.S.: Do the following now! FIRST, TEACH CIVICS. Second, register voters. THIRD, TEACH CIVICS. Rinse. Repeat.

P.P.P.S.: Every local office of the Democratic Party and of the elected officials (including state representatives on up) must become a site for civic teach-ins and a clearing house for needed services (with Federal departments being sabotaged). The fact is that Democrats believe in the value of government and of government service, and the other side (i.e. the MAGAts and the illiberals) simply doesn’t. This engagement process will make registering partisan voters and teaching civics much easier.

So energized by the conversations I had yesterday with voters when knocking doors! Many were at the beach (why not, it was a gorgeous day!) but those who were around were very highly motivated to vote! Everyone was friendly & welcoming, & I felt that I made a difference. I will finish up what's left of my door knocking list and am working through my Postcards to Swing States cards to VA.

Last night's MoveOn call w Reps. Crockett & Ansari and Sen. Murphy kicked a$$--it was the first night of a multi-state Won't Back Down tour: https://front.moveon.org/campaigns/wont-back-down/ - the slogan is "F** around & take back the House"!

In that spirit, I am loving the news from TX Dems--if Abbott dares to give them all the proverbial boot, there will be people in the streets in Austin, San Antonio, Houston, etc., and you better believe Beto has been letting ol' Greg have it on the socials. Don't mess w Texas Dems!

Just made calls to Booker & Kim--our weekly grocery store bill went up by 30% (this is with using coupons, sales, etc. like we always do) and I told them that this is job #1 right now.

Keep Going!
