Honestly, I don't understand why President Biden is negotiating with Kevin McCarthy. Simon, you are correct - McCarthy and the other extortionist Republicans are not negotiating in good faith. Bargaining with them will just encourage this bad behavior every single year a Dem is in the White House. The lawfully-enacted-and-signed-into-law BUDGET *IS* the debt ceiling and the floor. See recent Forbes article by Cornell University professor Robert Hockett in which he argues there are 6 ways in which the debt ceiling is unconstitutional.
The Russia shit is really important and I’m glad you spoke about it today. It should be a greater part of the narrative about what happened in 2016. I look forward to your future postings on this.

Important to hear again facts about Russia interference that began before election and you carried it to the FBI threat Comey likely knew about and McGonigal’s recent arrest. Even though those events were threatening, shocking and still are, the country was barraged for years with it. People need these threads pulled together. Loved commentary near end about swing states win the general. Rocking it Simon.
Your discussion of how compromised Trump and others in the GOP have been and still are was very clear and well done. Remember when a collection of them spent July 4th there on “official business”? Why can’t the press present the story so simply and clearly? Because they don’t, the fact that you do is important even though you would prefer not to have to any more. It’s so obvious and dangerous to our country the Durham/Barr strategy to just try to bury reality.
