Thank you so very much for the Hopium Chronicles! I’m a new subscriber. I want to briefly make one comment about your comparison of the Hopium community to the United States cavalry. The comparison made me laugh out loud. But after quick reflection, it took me to a very painful place, remembering all the hostility and violence by the US military and settlers to Native Americans.
I finished writing 200 postcards for Virginia and am writing some more with Seniors Taking Action for a School Board race. It keeps me sane and focussed amidst the chaos.

I just checked Vote Forward and they are still doing VA political campaigns, until October 31.
