With the new redistricting in NYState and the Biden impeachment stupidity there will be options to flip R seats.

Simon, we really need you. Thanks for keeping us informed of the good stuff. The bad stuff we can hear everywhere. I really appreciate all suggestions for what we can do. We are not helpless; please keep reminding us!

It was just so good to listen to you, Simon! You are so real. . . genuine and sincere. Smart and wise, too! Attracting and inspiring. I believe you and trust you. I want to tell everyone about you and your vision, your strategies and your gratitude. Golden Age? Why not? Lucky me to have been born during WW II and to still be alive today! A very good night, indeed! Thank you so very much.

Simon, I really needed to hear your message on anxiety and worry and turning that into action. Sometimes I just freeze with fear of what's happening in our politics . Trying to find the balance of staying informed without losing my sanity. I'm so grateful I found Hopium. Thank you for all you do.

Thank you Simon. I only listen to your polling data. I don’t pay attention to msm. I also make sure I listen to uplifting and hopeful commentaries such as Meidas Touch…. etc.

Thanks for keeping our spirits up as we head into a true do-or-die campaign. This campaign needs to be pro-Biden|Harris, not just anti-Trump. Your facts, perspectives and optimism show the way.

Simon, I do appreciate your positive attitude toward what we are facing in 2024, but I gotta say that it is really difficult for me to fully support the Biden administration when literally thousands of people are dying in Gaza and the Israeli government is endangering its own people and Jews around the world. Biden has not stepped up as a peacemaker and that is extremely sad and dangerous. I am spending a lot of my time as an organizer in Vermont getting volunteers to work in key swing states to elect Dems up and down the ballot, but as far as Biden is concerned all of his accomplishments are tarnished with his stance on the war in Gaza. I just can't be a cheerleader for him.

Hear you Rebecca, but keep in mind as you work through all of this that Biden did in fact negotiate a cease fire, one that Hamas walked away from, as they walked away from the cease fire negotiated in 2021. That the fighting resumed is the fault of Hamas, and those who care about this conflict simply place far more of the blame on what is happening in Gaza on Hamas. I am not leaving Bibi and his government harmless, and have repeatedly called for the ouster of Bibi and a new and more responsible government to form in Israel. This is something Biden has now called for too. But the idea that what is happening in Gaza is due to Israel and the US, and not also Hamas/Iran/Russia is just not in touch with the reality of what's happening here. We had a cease fire, aide was flowing in and Hamas walked away, and began once again using the 2m people of Gaza as human shields. They deserve far more blame and public criticism for is happening in my view. But hear you, this is a very hard and challenging situation, and I for one am proud of the role Biden has played so far.

Totally agree that Hamas is at fault as well. Thanks for your thoughtful response.

This is really messy, but I think Simon is right about Hamas, Iran, and Russia. That’s a really ugly triangle. I wish Bibi and his right-wing cronies were not in charge. Extremists make negotiations much more difficult. Look no further than our own House of Representatives under the leadership of a religious zealot and MAGA supporter. Not good.

I agree Susan it is tragic situation no matter how we look at it. But it good to have a civil, decent, intelligent community to talk with. Thanks for being there.

Thanks Simon for also posting your gatherings as podcasts. As much as I enjoy Substack using a podcast to listen is more convenient on the go. I also enjoyed your recent post about getting louder which I believe was an older interview but still very informative. Please keep up the great work.
