So what am I going to DO ABOUT THIS...... Starting Wednesday I will be going to area universities registering voters!!!!! I will report back how many we get! FIND THEM SIGN THEM OR DONATE TO GROUPS DOING IT NOW & OFTEN!

I know people who do that phone bank and recommend it highly. It’s also a real opportunity to get out NC voters. I lived in NC for 4 years. I believe it can flip.

Simon, you asked for input for ideas for future speakers at the live events. I have heard some comments in the past about disconnect between Dem leadership and the grassroots. Maybe someone from leadership or (even the Biden campaign!!!!!) could attend a meeting? It might be nice to hear plans, etc and be able to ask questions. It would also be motivating and provide direction for advocacy. Just an idea.

Excellent round-up today, a great resource to bookmark for pulling points to make lots of arguments for how the country is better off thanks to Biden and a Democratic Congress. Dems have turned around a deadly pandemic to deliver history-making climate action, massive infrastructure investments for our roads, bridges, and rural broadband, significantly lower prescription costs, and record-setting jobs creation—especially in the higher-paying manufacturing sector and particularly in some of our most economically-challenged communities like those in Appalachia and the Rust Belt.
Another great share and reminder to continue being proud and getting loud about how the Dems are delivering jobs, progress, and freedoms, while the MAGA Repubs just keep doubling down on recessions, deficits, failures, and unabated fascism.
Also, this has been under the wire, but the Camp David Summit between Japan and S. Korea was another huge diplomatic win for Biden - https://heathercoxrichardson.substack.com/p/august-18-2023 - so add that to Dems very good summer...
