There is the Meidas Touch Network on YouTube. They offer some video versions of Pro-Democracy podcasts that I like: Legal AF that gives ins and outs of the Trump trials, Politics Girl, On Democracy With Fred Wellman, Weekend Show with Anthony Davis, and MAGA Uncovered with Anthony Davis and Ron Filipkowski. They also produce Talking Feds with Harry Litman, but he has his own YouTube Channel.
I look at those poll numbers and see it pretty close on how well Biden is handling the Israel Hamas war. I think a lot of the dissatisfaction comes from Netanyahu’s extreme unpopularity, and the sheer number of civilian deaths in Palestine. I’m glad to see Biden finally realize there is in reality some pushback on his blanket and reflexive support of Netanyahu (the Israeli people should always get our blanket support, the leadership not so much) and adapt his stance, as we are seeing with his calls for pauses for humanitarian aid and a ceasefire to get the Israeli hostages out. Better late than never. But I do fear some democrats may hold this anger and stay home in 2024. I hope not. I will vote for him absolutely. But that is my fear.
I believe President Biden is holding as much of a political stick over Netanyahu as possible. He’s Israel’s Trump/Putin. Most Israelis despise him, especially after the Hamas attack. Just another sorry example of failed governance by extremists. Don”t let the bullies win.
Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this, which is fine, but seems Republicans have a much more serious internal split on their hands regarding Mid East than Democrats do: Russia is now Iran's close ally and Iran is pro-Hamas.
There are Putin fans in MAGA. There are evangelical pro-Netanyahu people in MAGA. How can they coexist? Esp once a nominee has to speak on this topic to both groups.
I have had it with the New York Times!!!! I just cancelled my subscription and am now using the money to donate monthly to Civic Influencers. Would be great if others did too. Here is the link. https://civicinfluencers.org/donate/ By the way, Simon, have you already had Maxim Thorne as a guest? If not, that would be a good idea. They work to get out the youth vote. https://civicinfluencers.org/about-2/
What a malignant, rancid, self-aggrandizing excuse for a Party the Republicans have become Let’s out vote them all unless someone recognizes the need for bipartisanship. Right now that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.
Just awesome and I too am with you. I looked at that photo of the President and First Lady and got tears in my eyes, having the thought: "They love this country", and how GRATEFUL I am to have them at the helm. A damned hard job. THANK YOU, SIMON.
Saw a great meme: Vote for someone in 2024 who will be 86 at the end of his term, and then vote for someone younger in 2028. Or vote the guy who will be 83 at the end of his term, and never vote again!
Yes, Our successes at the ballot box emphasize the trend saying...ENOUGH’S ENOUGH!
Act after act they continue shooting themselves in their own foot, it’s convincing fence sitters, independents , and many Republican ( thanks y’all) that it’s time to end this carnage. And end it we will ...for a long..l o n g...L. O. N. G. time. ‘24, ‘26, ‘’28, ‘30, ‘’32>>>
We are rolling up our sleeves and rolling out the carpet of Democracy .
🗣️straighten up this mess created , of insidiously sought and endless tax cuts , woman’s rights taken back how many years , equalities long denied and newly across the board slashed , and the biggest voter denial...decades too long of taking away progress for our country.
The time is ripe.
Let’s do it!

I would add convince people you know (and even those you don't) to register to vote. If you have a family gathering or get invited to a holiday party, bring up the subject of voting/registering to vote especially with any young people who may be newly eligible to register or pre-register.
I'm retired and volunteer with the League of Women Voters to register newly naturalized citizens. So whenever someone asks me what I have been up to I mention a recent ceremony I attended and how proud the new citizens are to be able to vote. Many people then volunteer their own voting story. If not I usually say "I hope you are registered to vote". I don't belabor it, but I do counter with examples if someone says they don't think their vote would count.
LWV is strictly non-partisan, although they do get involved when states pass voter suppression laws. But I am also involved with Field Team 6 (www.fieldteam6.org) whish is a highly partisan voter registration group with the tag line "Register Democrats and Save the World." Cehck them out, if you aren't familiar with them.
in June 2022 I was terrified after Roe versus Wade was overturned. I was terrified at our mounting human problems. I discovered " A letter from an American " written by Heather Cox Richardson in late June 2022 and she has educated me and cheered me up a lot. last fall, I discovered Earth For All platform. This is an international group of people working in economics, political science and earth science . I love that they integrate these complex and entangled domains. I also love that they very much accept that different regions with need different solutions and that we must tackle poverty and massive inequality to create enough social cohesion to work though our very complex planetary boundary issues. This year I found the Global Compassion Coalition. and now Hopium. Since 2020 I have tried to work at supporting Truth and Reconciliation and UNDRIP in Canada and since 2009 Canadian Friends of Peace Now. Another great treasury of multi-cultural wisdom
I recommend is the CBC Massey lectures and the archives. I have only read about six books out of the many thinkers whose work they highlight. All were really worth listening to and reading. Thanks for all you do. I hope you start your own news channel with Heather.........
Another negative poll (the NBC poll all over the news today) most notably with low approval for Biden among the youth group. Slightly positive among Democrats on Biden's Israeli policy but youth vote very low. Maybe a lot of misunderstanding on Biden's diplomacy with Bibi?
Agree. There is Free Speech TV though. An app which you can stream on Apple TV and I think other devices as well.,

Better late than never? Biden has been doing that from the get go. I can't post an image but here's a link to a post from Oct. 16 about Biden trying to rein in Netanyahu. Maybe he could be tougher, idk, like make aid contingent on him resigning. But he's a fundamentally good person with a great deal of knowledge and experience, so I'm inclined to trust him. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid02TFD4nZtvAAFbwTqqiFzn3UN4oruK2T7RyW1mgLJ6rXPrABotagcwNUwQ2A2yYYTkl&id=676617064&mibextid=Nif5oz
Saudi Arabia runs a very CORRUPT government

Maxim Thorne’s passion and enthusiasm for getting out the youth vote are infectious ! I support Civic Influencers.💙
Would love more details about why Trump is likely to get sentenced to prison.

Many people are unaware of the ability to pre-register. Check here to see what the rules are in your state: https://www.rockthevote.org/how-to-vote/nationwide-voting-info/voter-pre-registration/

I just read 30% of eligible voters are NOT registered…if you won’t vote don’t complain when that vote is taken away…it happens
