One note for today, and i will dive into this in tomorrow's post a bit more - like "shutting down the Senate" or walking out of a Presidential address, shutting down the government is not an easy call to make. Congress is under assault right now by Trump, and I think Democrats have been rightly concerned to do anything that further weakens its authority. I just say this as I think the "shut down the government" approach is a much tougher call then it appears, particularly when it could end up allowing Trump through his information superiority attempt to place the blame of inflatiom and a recession on us. I am going to defer to Jeffries and Schumer on the right course, and let's see what happens with the House vote tomorrow.

I received a response from Blake Moore to an email I sent a couple of weeks ago. It actually doesn't even sound like a form letter. This paragraph from his response was amazing to hear:

"I hear your frustrations, and I am sympathetic to your concerns. My heart goes out to the many hardworking Utahns who are being impacted by these unanticipated changes in the federal workforce. I heard frustrations at a recent town hall in Davis County and on last week’s tele-townhall with 16,000 constituents, and I know my office phones have been ringing off the hook. I get daily briefs from my team on the information they are receiving from constituents, the Trump Administration, Hill Air Force Base, Ogden’s Internal Revenue Service, the Forest Service, and other agencies. The federal workers I interact with in Utah are tremendous public servants who have dedicated their lives and careers to important government missions. "

It was quite a bit longer than this one paragraph, but it sounds like the pressure is hitting Congress.
