6

Hopium Chronicles has endorsed 12 candidates running for the U.S. House in 2024. All of these races are in Republican held seats, are the most likely to flip, and simply they will determine control of the House. You can give to all 12 of these candidates through a single donation, or give directly to each via the links below.

We will be interviewing all 12 of these candidates in the coming week. Be sure to check out first two interviews with George Whitesides (CA-27) and Janelle Bynum (OR-5).

Thank you all for your help and support for these 12 courageous patriots!

Andrei Cherny - (AZ-01) - Donate to Andrei | Volunteer | Learn more.

Building an economy that works for everyone. Tackling the climate crisis and making Arizona ‘the Solar State.’ Protecting our democracy and freedoms – including a woman’s right to choose. For Andrei, these aren’t the words of a campaign. They’re personal. And they’ve been the work of his life.

The grandchild of four Holocaust survivors and son of refugees from communism, Andrei grew up in a small upstairs apartment where his family used food stamps and struggled to make ends meet. But because America welcomed immigrants with open arms and invested in Andrei with public schools and Pell Grants, he went from being a kid whose parents didn’t speak much English to working in the White House and building a business that created thousands of jobs.

I am committed to working on these important policies in Congress and helping to protect our planet and our future.”

Adam Gray (CA-13) - Donate to Adam | Volunteer | Learn more

Born and raised in the Central Valley, Adam Gray has served in the California State Legislature since 2012. Adam has championed bipartisan solutions including increasing funding for public safety, fighting to conserve water resources, and paving the way for rural health care expansion.

As the CA -13 Democratic nominee for Congress in 2022, Adam came within 600 votes of beating extremist John Duarte –– one of the closest margins in the country –– and he will finish the job in 2024.

Rudy Salas, CA-22 - Donate to Rudy | Learn more

A lifelong Central Valley resident, Rudy Salas has served five terms in the California State Legislature. Rudy has worked to expand workforce development, protect veterans’ and workers’ rights, and support small business communities. He is ready to flip California’s 22nd District.DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene: “Rudy is a leader who will fight for hardworking California families in Congress, and the right person to oust MAGA enabler David Valadao.”

George Whitesides, CA-27 - Watch My Interview With George | Donate | Volunteer | Learn more

George Whitesides is the Democratic nominee for Congress in California's 27th District, and is on the DCCC's Red to Blue list of seats most likely to flip this cycle. President Biden won this district by 12.4% in 2020, but it is currently held by MAGA Republican Mike Garcia.

George has spent his career solving problems. Over the past 20 years, he has helped lead NASA to new heights as Chief of Staff, created hundreds of quality jobs in the Antelope Valley as CEO of Virgin Galactic, and supported front-line responders and public health through his work on the wildfire crisis, co-founding Megafire Action. Now, he’s running for Congress to create jobs and expand opportunity in California’s 27th District.

CA-27 is one of our best opportunities to take back control of the U.S. House in 2024. The current representative is GOP Rep. Mike Garcia -- an extreme Republican who co-sponsored the national abortion ban and voted to overturn the 2020 election results. In 2020, he only won this district by 333 votes -- it is completely within our grasp this election cycle.

DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene: “[Laura’s] willingness to fight couldn’t stand in clearer contrast to D’Esposito, who has consistently caved to partisan extremists on border security, abortion rights, and the economy.”

Janelle Bynum (OR-5) - Watch My Interview with Janelle | Donate | Volunteer | Learn more

The daughter of teachers, her parents taught Janelle that education was the key to a better, safer world. When drug violence threatened her inner city neighborhood in Washington, DC, Janelle put that ideal into practice. She earned scholarships and put herself through school, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and her Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Today, Janelle and her husband, Mark, live in Happy Valley with their children. Janelle operates her family’s small business, running four restaurants in our community. In her restaurants, Janelle continues to embody those ideals taught to her early in life, mentoring her employees, providing scholarships to continue their education and encouraging them to dream big.

Janelle’s work has always been about reaching out and helping people get ahead, serving as our State Representative, and now running for Congress – she’s doing just that.

Janelle’s been working hard for us – lowering the cost of prescription drugs, protecting women’s reproductive freedom, protecting LGBTQ+ rights, building more affordable housing and addressing homelessness, taking on the climate crisis and finding pathways for all of our young people to get ahead – whether they’re pursuing a four-year degree or degree in career and technical education.  Janelle’s not afraid to stand up to anyone to ensure Oregonians get ahead.

Let’s do this people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
