Hopium's Winning The House Campaign

Nov 5, 2025 - Friends, with the 2025 elections behind us we are kicking off a 2026 version of our most successful 2024 cycle fundraising campaign - a campaign to help those Democrats most likely to turn red House districts blue and flip the House in 2026.

We are starting with four candidates:

• Christina Bohannan (IA-01) - GOP House candidate won by 1,000 votes

• Paige Cognetti (PA-08) - GOP incumbent won 50.8-49.2 (+1.6 points)

• Joanna Mendoza (AZ-06) - GOP incumbent won 50-47.5 (+2.5 points)

• Janelle Stelson (PA-10) - GOP incumbent won 50.6-49.4 (+1.2 points)

With the electorate shifting by at least 7 points since 2024 these four seats are all winnable for us. We need to win three seats net to flip the House.

Our House work began this cycle with a campaign to raise for what we’ve called The Hopium House 7 - the 7 newly elected House candidates who we supported last cycle and who are now up for re-election.
